Kayak Bass Fishing's 2017 Challenge Series begins in April with this month-long, 5-bass, Statewide CPR competition, sponsored by Torqeedo.
Only KBF Members with a fishing license permitting them to fish in the waters of this state are eligible to compete in this KBF State Challenge Series competition.
The minimum number of registrants for this event to qualify as a KBF State Challenge is 10. If fewer register, KBF will merge this with one or more other state(s) having similar black bass characteristics until the ten-registrant threshold is met. Once merged, states remain so for the remainder of the series.
Entry Fee: $21
Prizes: $15 of every Entry Fee goes to the prize pool. The number of places paid and amounts are determined by the number of registrants. See KBF State Challenge Rules Addendum for prize distributions.
Monetary prizes are distributed to winners by PayPal Funds Transfer.
KBF BONUS BUCKS: Starting with as few as 20 registrants, bonuses will be paid out to one, two, three or four KBF Members participating in this contingency awards program.
KBF AOY Points: Because one must be a KBF Member to compete in this Challenge, each registrant earns KBF AOY points at this event. First place receives 100 Points, and then points decrease with each step down in rank to a minimum 20 for active participants (those who upload even a single photo for scoring). Registrants who do not upload a photo receive 10 Registration Points.
KBF-NC Qualification: One or more competitors will be awarded a 2018 KBF-NC qualifying slot. If a KBF Member earning a slot has already qualified, then the slot rolls to the top eligible alternate who has not qualified.
For more details and complete rules, refer to the KBF Website's April 2017 KBF State Challenge Event Page.
By registering for this event sanctioned and directed by KBF, each competitor affirms he has read and agrees to abide by the rules, terms, and conditions of following two documents:
